SUSAN LEVY President SUSAN LEVY has lived in Williamsburg, VA, since 1993 with her husband Mark Jones. She studied art history at Oberlin College in Ohio and received her Masters Degree in Art History from Syracuse University in NY and Florence, Italy. After working at several art museums and art galleries in Minnesota and New Mexico, Susan started her Mary Kay business in 1991. Currently, Susan is a Sr. Sales Director and drives a free Mary Kay Car. Susan enjoys swimming, all things Italian, and plays the flute in York River Symphony Orchestra. She has been a member of PWN since 2005.
TERESA DENNER Vice President for Programs TERESA DENNER has been on the Peninsula since 1974. She moved as a child from Alabama to Maryland and spent 7 years in Germany. She graduated from Stuttgart American High School and then graduated from University of Maryland, College Park, MD. Her graduate degree is from William and Mary. She has worked at Merrill Lynch since 1998. Teresa is active with the Sister Cities of Newport News, Kiwanis and PWN since the early 80’s. She has a daughter Julia and husband Mike.
ANN ANDREWS Vice President for Communications ANN ANDREWS was born and raised in Fairfax, VA, and relocated to Norfolk to attend ODU in 1972. She moved to the peninsula in in 1980 and has remained a loyal peninsula resident since then. She received her BA in Sociology in 1976 and her MS in Health Administration in 1987, working in health care administration for long term care facilities. In 2005, Ann retired and became a licensed REALTOR, a change that has been a very positive one! As one of RE/MAX Select’s owners and their Principal Broker, she focuses mainly on residential sales and has received her ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist) and SFR (Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource) Certifications. Ann is married to Tom, a local pastor, and together they have started a new church ministry, HarborPointe Community Church. (check out www.harborpointe.org) She has 3 sons, all married and three grandsons. Life is very good!

DENISE OWEN Treasurer DENISE OWEN is a native of Hampton Roads. Raised in Norfolk, she attended Norfolk Catholic High School and Old Dominion University. She has worked as a mortgage originator, consumer loan manager, bank manager and is now a commercial loan officer with Bayport Credit Union. Denise became very active with community involvement and networking groups especially after moving to the Peninsula in 2004. She has been a member of the Peninsula Women's Network since 2007. She has two beautiful children, Nicholas, age 11 and Nadia, age 8.
JENNIFER MORRONE Past President A native of the Virginia peninsula, JENNIFER MORRONE attended Ferguson High School and Graduated Christopher Newport University 2000 with a Bachelors concentrating Public Administration. After Graduation, she went on to become the Leadership Institute Director for the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce. During that time, Jennifer served as President of the Virginia Leadership Association and helped to develop Lead Virginia, a statewide Leadership Program. She left the Chamber in 2005 to pursue her love of scrapbooking and her Creative Memories Business. It is her belief that everyone should have a scrapbook that shows them how much they are loved. Jennifer has been a member of the Peninsula Women’s Network since 2004 and has served on the PWN Board for the last couple of years. Jennifer has 3 children who are attending college and resides in Newport News with her husband Michael
JOYCE BYINGTON-CLARK First Year Member at Large JOYCE BYINGTON-CLARK is a native of the Midwest, but has spent more than half of her life in Virginia. She considers herself to be a Virginian, mostly to annoy of the life-long Virginians. Joyce graduated College at Ferris State University and has a Degree in Marketing. She has worked in the Hotel Industry for over 20 years in Williamsburg, Richmond, Hampton and Newport News. She is a long time supporter of local organizations: Virginians Against Payday Lending, USO of Hampton Roads and the Zenith Challenge. Joyce has been a member of PWN since 2004. She has a 16 year old son, Robert. He is a genius, thanks for asking
ANN DARTT First Year Member at Large ANN DARTT is a native of New York State but now calls Virginia her home. After graduating from Daemen College in Buffalo, NY (and surviving the blizzard of 1977), she fled the brutal winters and now lives in upper York County with her husband Steve (another escapee from NYS.) Ann left the health information management profession after 30 years of supervising and directing staff in all levels of healthcare facilities to become a professional coach and organizer. She is secretary for the Old St. John’s Church DAR in West Point, founding member of her church’s Community Outreach committee, co-librarian of the Colonial Piecemakers Quilt Guild, a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers and the Hampton Roads Professional Organizers. She has been a member of the Peninsula Women’s Network since 2008 and currently attends the Friday Leads Group in Williamsburg and helps on the Program Committee.
MICHELLE ROMANELLO First Year Member at Large MICHELLE ROMANELLO is an independent consultant for Tastefully Simple and has been a member of the Peninsula Women's Network since 2009. Currently she is living in Yorktown. She was born in Connecticut, lived in NJ and VA before attending HS in Huntington Beach, CA. Michelle retired from the USAF in 2003 after 21 years of faithful service and earned her Bachelor Degree in Management/Human Resources from Park College (in Parkville, Missouri). Michelle is very active with the Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church community and serves as the Secretary for the Peninsula Italian American Lodge (PIAL #2145). She has two beautiful daughters, Domenique (who is a certified massage therapist) and Rebecca (who will be attending Radford University in the fall).
DEBBIE STODDARD Second Year Member At Large DEBBIE STODDARD is Commercial Services Officer with Old Point National Bank. She has been in banking for over 24 years with experience in Treasury Services, Merchant Services, and Commercial Banking. Debbie received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Averett University. She has completed several courses with the American Banker’s Association. Debbie is very active in the community, currently serving on numerous Committees with Coliseum Central Business Improvement District. She is a member of Hampton Roads Network Exchange Club and serves on the Board of the Peninsula Women’s Networking group.

SANDY SAMMONS Second Year Member at Large SANDY SAMMONS is a native Virginian. She moved around as a military dependant from California, Puerto Rico, Germany and then finally back home to Virginia in 1964. She graduated from York High School. She and her late husband Wilroy owned and operated Sammons Commercial from 1983 - January 2009. They then merged with Breeger Media Group that same month. She is currently the office manager at the new satellite office in Oyster Point for Breeger Media Group. Sandy has been active in Kiwanis and PWN for a number of years dating back to the 1990's. She has one daughter, a step son and twin baby grand daughters who keep us all busy. Being able to be a part of their life everyday is a precious privilege.

KAREN KENNEDY Second Year Member at Large State Farm Agent KAREN KENNEDY arrived in Virginia 18 years ago. She has been in the insurance and financial services industry for over 25 years (she started at age 2 which is the secret to her girlish good looks). Karen loves helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected and protect their financial future. Karen attended Trinity University in San Antonio, TX where she majored in Journalism. After a short stint as a newspaper reporter, Karen joined a major insurance company headquartered in San Antonio and began her corporate career. While with them, she helped open the Sacramento, CA office and then moved to Norfolk, Virginia to take over the customer service training department. Karen attended the College of William & Mary’s Executive MBA program and was elected class president, the first woman in the history of the program. She also met an executive with State Farm and Karen decided to take advantage of the opportunity to become her own boss in a profession she truly enjoys. Assigned to a Newport News office in 2005, Karen splits her time between Newport News (weekdays) and Virginia Beach (weekends). Upon her arrival in Newport News, Karen discovered PWN and the wonderful women who participate in the organization. When she is not working, Karen volunteers at Church of the Holy Family in Virginia Beach, spends summer weekends boogie boarding at the beach and loves to travel to exotic places.
